February 16, 2016 (Cebu., Philippines) – On its seventh year, Red Bull King of the Rock is finally coming to the basketball-crazed nation this 2016. The world’s most prestigious one-on-one street basketball tournament brings the sport with all the raw excitement to some of the most historic courts in the hearts of Cebu City and Metro Manila.
Participation is open to both amateurs and professional recruits alike who are at least 16 years of age. Competitors will need to bring their A-game in order to place within the Top 8 of their assigned qualifiers for their chance to compete in the Philippine National Finals taking place at the end of March.

Red Bull King of the Rock is the world's most prestigious one-on-one street basketball tournament. After a series of qualifying events taking place around the world, the best and toughest finalists face off to crown the new champion. The tournament follows a straightforward concept where players battle head-to-head in raw outdoor basketball, using a single-elimination tournament bracket. Games last five minutes and are subject to regulation hoops rules and scoring (two and three pointers).
