Last Pop District (a two-day food and lifestyle bazaar) happened in Oakridge Pavillon, A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City, there’s this stall for cakes and pastries that stunned before my eyes. Now, to set your expectations, I eat almost anything but I’m not so much on cakes compared to some friends I know who almost can’t live a day without a piece of it + coffee- but the moment I spotted this stall at one corner of the big tent during the bazaar, it captured my attention and automatically got my palate interested with the cakes I saw.

I walked closer to the food stall to take photos of the cakes that’s about to be sold out and this mango cake really caught my attention. At the back of my mind I said, “this last piece must be very yummy.”

I also got the opportunity to meet the people behind the cake stall at the bazaar representing CHEF’S TABLE. Chef Rafael Wong- the man behind Chef’s Table along with the beautiful mom, Mdm. Jenny Wong introduced me the products they offer. to public. I was delighted to encounter wonderful cake creations by Chef Rafael that’s guaranteed flavorful and very affordable. Though, they consider their business a baby in the food industry, Chef’s Table is truly promising and will mark a name in Cebu and beyond.

And to help you look for best cakes, you must consider these:

  1. Taste
  2. Affordability
  3. Presentation

And yup, Chef’s table have it all three- the value for money is there. It’s a must dig-in.

I thought the ube cake had this greyish color icing! So pretty though. I hope I can visit their stall one of these days.
